Double Decker Fudge Candy
Quantity With Ingredients :
1 cup Peanut Butter Chips,
1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips,
2¼ cup Sugar,
1¾ cup Marshmallow Creme,
¾ cup Evaporated Milk,
¼ cup Butter / Margarine,
1 tsp Vanilla,
Q.S Star Shapes,
Q.S Sugar Beads,
Method of Preparation : Measure peanut butter chips into one bowl and chocolate chips into another; set aside.
Butter 8-inch square pan; set aside. Comb ine sugar, marshmallow creme, evaporated milk and butter in heavy 3-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring cons tantly, until mixture boils; continue cooking and stirring for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Immediately stir half the hot mixture into peanut butter chips until completely melted.
Quickly pour into prepared pan.
Stir remaining hot mixure into chocolate chips until completely melted, Quickly spread over top of peanut butter layer; cool.
Cut into 1-inch squares.
For Toppings :
Pierce the squares with desired stick, probably of plastic, dip it in melted chocolate and then sprinkle
with star shapes or beads or jimmies, as desired.
