Quantity With Ingredients :
1 envelope unflavored gelatin,
2V cups milk,
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa, sifted,
1 tablespoon cornstarch,
1 teaspoon vanilla extract,
Cup whipped topping or whipped cream,

Method of Preparation : Put the milk in a medium saucepan. Sprinkle gelatin over the milk and it let stand 5 minutes to soften the gelatin. Stir in the egg. sugar, cocoa, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, until the mixture comes to a boiL Reduce heat to low and continue stirring until the mixture thickens. This should take only a few minutes.
Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool until it is lukewarm. Stir in vanilla. Pour the mixture into a serving bowl and refrigerate. Stir the mixture occasionally until it is thickened (about 45 minutes).
Gently fold 1 cup of prepared whipped topping into the chocolate mixture. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
For Toppings :Mousse is sprinkled with the decorative shape, jimmies, sugar pearls or sparling sugar.
